Oro navigacija and CS SOFT signed contract for ATC system for Palanga

In April, CS SOFT and Oro navigacija signed the contract for deployment of air traffic control system for Palanga. CS SOFT was selected as a winner of procurement procedure for this project, when ATC system for Palanga will be implemented as the extension of operational ALS^ATM system in Kaunas.

Overall project is planned for 18 months. The latest version of ALS ^ATM system will enable Oro navigacija to continue providing safe Palanga Tower and Approach services in a more efficient way. ALS^ATM system will provide ATCOs with a wide variety of supporting tools including complete Safety Nets, MONA, OLDI messages etc.

As stated by CCO of CS SOFT, Mr. Karel Bárta,: “We are very pleased to extend our long-term cooperation and to further support Oro navigacija in provision of safe and reliable air navigation services in an even more efficient way not only in Kaunas, where CS SOFT completed a major two phased upgrade of ALS system in 2023, but in the near future in Palanga as well”.

ALS^ATM system is a robust and operationally proven product of CS SOFT that has been developed in a close cooperation with ATCOs and other subject matter experts. It can be easily configured and scaled to meet specific needs of air navigation providers. The system supports TWR, APP, ACC and GND operations and is being continuously enhanced to reflect ever evolving industry requirements and trends.
